Overview:

On 2018, Walking Paths Ministry will need young men aged 20-45 (limited number of age waivers available) who have graduated from our free, online Walking Paths Bible College to go on deputation and commit to 5 years of service as a Walking Paths Ministry Church Planter.

Walking Paths Ministry Evangelists will initially be deployed one per state. Whether you want to serve in your home state or another as a church to church evangelist you can choose. But it is first come first choice.

Walking Paths Ministry Pilots will serve as long as they want but no less than 3 years. There are no age restrictions for pilots.

Description:

As a Walking Paths Ministry Church Planter you will spend 5 years building the foundations of western church planting. You will be involved in a high speed, fast paced, God honoring ministry. You will be responsible for planting churches in every town and village in Alaska. You will not only plant churches but provide support operations for church planters in Alaska and throughout the western United States. You will be flying, sailing, hiking and riding trains to remote villages, cabins and towns. You will be flown across Alaska, dropped off on a beach that borders the Arctic ocean and sprint to a hut to witness to an old couple and then fly back home. All in one day. You will travel across frozen rivers and lakes to share the gospel. You will sail or snowmobile 5+ miles across the Pacific ocean to reach an island that does not have a Baptist church. You will spend hours each day reading the Bible and on your knees begging God to show mercy and bless your work. You will mentor and train new church planters and make them ready and determined to plant churches across the western United States. They have committed to plant one church a year. Your training will make that happen.

The Church Planter's Time Line:

Initial Year: Serving while training In Alaska (This year is not part of the 5 year term. It is a training year.)

Year One - Year Three: Serving outside Alaska planting churches

Year Four - Year Five: Serving as either an interim church planter or an Alaska based church planting trainer 

Instructions:

If you feel you are the one for this task, then your responsibility is to prepare yourself. In 2012 we will open our Bible College and provide instructions for those who desire to come serve with us.
